This means that every Ducati is minimal five ours at the workshop depending of what type of motorcycle whereby
each screw will be checked, some little chances will be made also.

One of the things is the clutch modification and the brake pins will be secured.
Your Ducati will be checked from every side, from top to bottom The most of the chances
where developed in our own shop.

The only stops you will have to make in Oisterwijk is at 1000 kilometers for oil and filter,
After 6,000 kilometers it is sensible for your Ducati to visit Biggelaar Special Performance
for a minor maintenance check. If your new Ducati is bought at our shop this service is free of charge.

The next check is at 12.000 kilometers, this is your first check that you will be charged for.
It means that all check till 12.000 kilometers are free off charge for material and labor.
This is included when you’re buying a new Ducati at our shop.

After each 6,000 kilometers it is sensible for your Ducati to visit Biggelaar Special Performance
for a minor maintenance check. If you make the appointment previously to the visit,
by ringing or email, you can wait for this minor maintenance check.
The oil and the oil filter of the Ducati will be replaced after the first 18,000 kilometers
If your Ducati has reached the 24,000 kilometers and you keep strictly to your maintenance scheme so your
Ducati will be in top condition, we will check and if necessary replace the sparking plugs.
At the same time we standard check the tyres, chain tension and gear, if there not worn off.

Naturally we check the brake-block at each maintenance check and if necessary replace it.

The distribution belts are checked on tension and wear.

If everything is ok, you can take your Ducati for the next 6000 kilometers

The major maintenance check is the first one that your paying for if your new Ducati is bought at
Biggelaar Special Performance. The first 12,000 kilometers, maintenance is free of charge.

Each Ducati needs a major maintenance check after the first 12,000 kilometers
After each 6,000 kilometers you need a minor maintenance check until you reach the 36,000 kilometers
At 36,000 kilometers you need your second major maintenance check.

Maintenance to second-hand Ducati’s is depending of how the Ducati is maintained by the previous owner
and driven kilometers It’s no problem if your Ducati isn’t bought at Biggelaar Special Performance,
if you carried out a major maintenance check at Biggelaar’s you can step into the maintenance scheme
and perform maintenance's as written above.

What do we do at a major maintenance check?

We at Biggelaar Special Performance act drastically if we carry out a major maintenance check.
The cillinderheads will be taken apart, the valves will be taken out and everything will be exactly shaped
so the valve will fit perfect into place. Next we assemble and adjust the valves according to our own standards.
Your driving a desmo, what means that the valve will not be pushed by a spring into place but the valve
will have to close at is own force. So once a leak stay’s a leak when we only adjust the valves!
It’s practically impossible to check the rocker arms on chrome damage if we don’t remove the crankshaft.
That why we follow this procedure. If this is done, the interval between the major maintenance check’s can be
24.000 kilometers (by the “testa stretta”even up till 40.000 kilometers)!

40 years experience with Ducati stands for great results. Your Ducati will be check from every side,
from top to bottom so if there’s a minor problem it will be solved.
If your Ducati is completely checked, you will drive the next 24.000 kilometers until the next major maintenance check.

You still need to replace the oil and oil filter after 6.000 kilometers and the belt needs to be check after 12.000 kilometers
You will need to check the distribution belt extra if your driving a 4 cylinder motorbike because the force on the
distribution belt is higher than off a 2 cylinder motorbike, therefore it’s important that the belt will be replaced after 2 years.
These are the so-called “finished while your waiting” checks, which have a friendly price.

It goes without saying that guarantees will by free of costs during the major maintenance check. By a major check
everything will be check even the gearbox and crankshaft, so future failure will be kept to the minimum,
most of the failure’s stay out because the thorough way of working.
